Watering the plants today I took a good look at some of the things growing. Spotted my roses have finally got some buds:
And the climbing beans have strange purple flowers growing:
Noticed that the potato leaves growing in the garden are quite a lot more yellow and unhealthy looking with brown splotches, compared to the ones I grew in a bag. I suspect this is to do with the soil, the bag growing potatoes are grown with totally new compost that I bought this year, the others are mostly growing in the garden soil, which is quite clay-y, and I'm not sure the potatoes like it... Anyway, I gave them lots of water, I hope that will help.
