Felin Fach Griffin garden tour

Today we went on a garden tour of the Felin Fach Griffin in Brecon. Joe, the talented gardener showed four of us around this fantastic plot of land, that provides the restaurant with vegetables and fruit for their meals. This was followed by a great barbecue, local burgers, sausages and steaks, with barbecued squash, beetroot and sweetcorn, accompanied with tomatoes and salad from the garden, and a pea risotto. Oh and a bloody mary made with tomato juice from the garden and horseradish sauce!

And it's not just me who is waging war on the slugs, the cabbages have been shredded by the guys!

There's so much lovely growing in this special garden, really inspirational stuff. This was the last garden tour of the year, but there are plans for more next year.
